Built in the great depression, the Empire State Building held the record as the world’s tallest building for nearly 40 years! And, even today, William F. Lamb’s iconic architectural design stands out in the concrete jungle that is Midtown Manhattan. It is such a great travesty that the hideous eyesore 432 Park Avenue is now the tallest building in midtown. Here is our pictorial homage to the pride of the Big Apple:
