We hopped off the plane at Frankfurt and were pleased to find that the LH Business lounge was right across the hallway. One of the great things about Frankfurt is that there are quite a few LH Business lounges and all of them are a step above what British Airways has to offer at Heathrow.
The lounge was not very crowded when we first arrived in the morning, but it certainly picked up as the day went on. Either way there was still plenty of seating available, unlike the BA Galleries Lounge at T5 in Heathrow.
Food offerings included cereal, bread, fruit, coffee, some house made cakes, and even some candy. It was by no means extensive, but certainly got the job done given that there was always the food on the plane. The coffee machine was quite decent and has hot chocolate, tea, espresso, and cappucino.
The lounge does offer a few showers and access is first come first serve. There was no wait for one when I went so I’m not sure if they maintain a wait list or not. The space itself was nice enough (a bit sterile to say the least), but I have to say that the shower was a bit annoying in that the spray of water only lasted a few seconds at a time. I don’t understand the feeling of being on airplane while on the ground but kudos to them for conserving water.
Bottom Line:
There truly isn’t much to write home about for this particular Lufthansa Business Class lounge, but it was nice and convenient enough for the short layover we had. I did appreciate that there was ample room to sit and that the Wi-Fi appeared to be fairly fast. The food should keep you happy enough and they did appear to change it out for lunch later on in the day. However, certainly look elsewhere if you are in need of a hearty full meal. Given everything else, Lufthansa lounges are actually not bad at all.

@Teja : I don’t know you or ur blog at all this is my first time stumbling across it
But I just wanna say BRAVO to that cover picture of this article —
just the right angle and matching overcast skies to make the bird in LH’s logo appear to be a Phoenix or even a dragon breathing out that fire cloud to its right. u should tag LH on Twitter with it. Maybe they’ll also love it so much they’ll help promote your blog.
Thanks Henry, I very much appreciate the compliments! LH tried to get my image for free last time instead of saying they will properly credit it. So I just don’t do that anymore.
