I know this might be a little random, but I just noticed this past weekend that Southwest Airlines has started serving Belvita during morning flights. This is my usual breakfast of choice when on the run so it is definitely a welcome addition. I didn’t read it anywhere so just thought I would comment on something I was surprised about.
I’ve often noticed that Belvita isn’t as widely available as it should be at the airport convenience stores, especially considering how popular the segment has become.
Anyway kudos to Southwest on offering a relatively healthy, and filling option for breakfast and improving their snack options. It may not be as tasty as United’s Stroopwafel, but it will definitely get your through more of your day.
How do you feel about having Belvita as a breakfast option?
Yuck. Who wants more carbs & sugar for breakfast?
It’s way better than anything else other airlines offer and is a great source of fiber even though it has carbs and sugar. It’s true that I look forward to the day that airlines offer fruit cups for us in the morning, but among the packaged stuff this is preferable.
